These programs can be downloaded by clicking on the hotlink associated with the program. Notwithstanding the listing or brief reference given for any below-listed program, Babe Ruth does not endorse or recommend any of the following programs; the programs have been recommended to us by various individuals familiar with the programs. However, there are many many other equally good programs for similar uses.
Caveat: Download and/or use of any of these programs shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement referenced on our entry page. If you haven't read or agreed to the terms and conditions of the Agreement and Disclaimer, do not download or use any of these programs until you have done so.
Some of these "trial" programs limit the number of teams you can have in a league, or, they turn off some of the "features" that are available with the fully registered version. You can experiment with these and other equally good programs that you can download for free and use on a limited trial basis. Note also that a number of companies advertise commercial versions of similar programs in Babe Ruth's Bullpen newspaper.
Most download sites do not always have the latest version of a program on their site available for download. It's fine to try out the version that they do have; however, you should check the website of a particular software company to make certain you have its latest shareware (or commercial version, if you choose to buy).
You can also find the above programs PLUS TONS OF OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS on many websites. Use each site's "search engine". For instance, if you go to http://www.hotfiles.com and then type in the word "baseball" in the "search box" and you will find many baseball stats programs, league secretary programs, baseball games programs and miscellaneous baseball programs. Or, type the words "baseball league scheduler" in the "search box" and you will find many league scheduling programs and tournament bracketing programs. Most of the download sites work in a similar manner.
